Generation Two; Day Something with Two Digits: No, Jo! Don't Go!

And J starts us off with the stink eye.

"Can't say I approve of this guy."

Yeah; seems no one can. (Seriously. Kenny's the only one that will look at Josef with a smile. Bad taste in men, maybe?)

"What does my daughter see in him?"

I dunno. He's not got a whole lot of redeeming qualities. It really was supposed to be a one-off--only seen when procreation needs called for it.

"Well we see how that worked out."

Yeah, yeah, shut up.

I forgot that this was her formalwear. Oh dear. Anyways, we all know what formalwear means, yes? I almost let Kenny stay in her PJs, but this was such a good excuse for formal clothing.

The first wedding of the legacy! But I can't get over how weird that outfit is with a baby bump.  I should change it, maybe.

So now that they're married, maybe it's finally time for J and Jo to do so as well? ...When J gets off work, though. Kinda hard to get married when one's in the office, yeah?

Third trimester baby bump! The baby will be here soon.

Cue the Wedding March.

Belated wedding consummation.

Hertha's work uniform.

No matter how much other Sims in the house dislike him, Kenny's way too in love to get rid of him now.

Baby bump feel time.

And their relationship is better than it was when Val lived here and I love it.

Still one of the best sibling relationships ever. I think this is Hertha asking Val about woohoo--and not an embarrassed moodlet to be seen!

Autonomous hugs!

I think we all know what this means.

Apparently food is more important than giving birth.

Labor pains while eating. Still wanna put it off?

Like mother like daughter. Gotta hug the baby daddy before birthing can commence, apparently.

And it's a girl! Meet Stevie, everyone, our generation three heiress.

Her daddy is already in love with her.

Grandma is wrapped around her little finger, too.

Is there anyone she hasn't got under a spell?

"I like being a grandpa, okay?"

Clearly.

Already gonna try for a second kid.

Like a couple of teenagers. They're cute, though.

Pregnancy test.

Delayed pause strikes again. But congrats, Kenny, you're pregnant with child number two!

You look worried, Josef.

"Will Stevie age up before this one's born?"

She should.

"Grandmother twice over. Sweet."

If you're alive long enough.

"I will be."

Mother-daughter shot. They're so freaking cute.

Continuing the tradition of upset promotion shots, here's Josef after his first promotion.

So pretty--but I hope Stevie gets at least one thing from her father.

Got the notification that Jo's time is almost up.

J's too, actually.

Autonomous chatting. I love these two so much it's ridiculous.

Stevie aged up! She's really scrawny.

Here she is post-makeover. I'm lacking my notes at the moment, so I'll just have to update you guys on her traits when I get them back.

But isn't she cute? She's the first Zavanella without Jo's nose--and she has her daddy's eye color.

Josef decided to join J and Jo in elderhood.

He is sad because I didn't bother with cake.

Baby number two!

It's a boy! Welcome, Jayceon (here we go with the letter J again . . .) Zavanella. Sorry you were born second and therefore not eligible for heirdom.

Father-son photograph. (Am loving that both children this gen are blue.)

Hugs! This family loves hugs.

Such a good dad.

Stevie is taking to siblinghood much better than Val or her own mother ever did. I think I'm in love.

Jayceon pre-makeover. He's as scrawny as his sister, holy cow. He didn't get Jo's nose either.

Post-makeover. I remember his trait because it's so against his child aspiration. Jayceon is a Loner that aspires to be a Social Butterfly. (So does Stevie, but her trait continues to elude me.)

Got the notif that Jo's out of time.

One last mother-daughter shot between them.

Breaking my heart. The day he ages up is the day Jo and J are apparently to die.

Look who came over! Just in time!

She came home angry.

Soliciting cuddles from your aunt now, are you, Jay?

She doesn't look quite so teacherly now, but she's as good at helping with homework as she's always been.

Will never be over this adorable.

Wait wait wait wait wait.

No no no no no no no.

Jo Jo Jo Jo Jo Jo.

I'm with you, Kenny. I'm not ready for her to go either.

Why i it only Kenny's little section of the family to be affected by this?

Yelling at Grim for taking his grandmother. So upsetting.

And so starts the Zavanella graveyard. J's spot is already reserved.

And we're going to take Grim's leaving as the ending to this post. So sad. (Seriously, never been so upset by a grouping of pixels before in my life.)

Next time: Ghostliness, birthdays, and the last part of the second generation two.
